As part of our commitment to growing our pipeline of future leaders, we’re excited to be on the hunt for recent graduates to join our 2025 Graduate Program.
Dip your toes into something new, stopover in another role. Move around quickly. That’s what the Jetstar Graduate Program is all about – giving you the freedom to grow, steer and make the program yours. As a Jetstar Graduate, you are uniquely placed to immediately enjoy a permanent role, whilst reaping the benefits of a two-year rotational program.
Throughout the program, you’ll have access to a range of development initiatives, including monthly development days, work experience with our frontline team and regular coaching and shadowing with our senior leaders. As you approach completion of the 2-year program, we’ll partner with you to land you a role that ensures that your Jetstar career continues to soar.

Operations
Graduate Stream
Do you love all things aviation? Is it the thrill of flying, the excitement of being up in the air? Or perhaps it’s the sense of adventure and opportunity to explore new places and meet new people?
We welcome graduates from all types of degrees, including Aviation Management, to apply for our Operations Graduate Program. The catch is that you must bring a genuine curiosity and desire to learn about how we work together to run an airline.
As an Operations Graduate, you'll have the chance to work across many teams, including Airport Services, Customer Experience, Flying Operations, Operations Delivery, Safety and Strategy. You'll get involved in all types of projects and initiatives that directly impact our customer and people and will be encouraged to challenge us to do things differently.

Corporate
Graduate Stream
Do you love all things strategy but have travel on your to-do-list?
Perhaps your keen to influence what destinations we should add to our Jetstar Network, help us build our social media strategy or keen to analyze all stages of our customers journey?
There's a seat for everyone on our Corporate Graduate Program, including graduates with degrees in Marketing, Aviation Management, Business Management and Commerce. You'll enjoy rotations across a range of our Corporate and Support Teams, including our Customer, Commerical and Corporate Communications Team. You may also gain exposure to our Jetstar Branded Airlines within Singapore and Japan.

Finance
Graduate Stream
Do you love crunching numbers but have travel on your mind?
Our Finance Graduates have Accounting or Finance undergraduate or post graduate studies and let there careers take off within a finance community that spans across the entire Qantas Group. You’ll have the opportunity to join our Financial Control and our Operations and Commercial FP&A Teams, working on projects that truly influence the strategic direction of Jetstar, such as fleet investment.
You’ll watch your on the job learning soar, however we'll also contribute funding towards your CA or CPA qualification, ensuring that you land your career goals quickly.

Engineering
Graduate Stream
Are you a trouble-shooter? Obsessed with how our aircraft take to the sky safely?
Our Engineering Graduates have degrees in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering and enjoy working across the entire Jetstar Engineering Team, with exposure to a variety of work areas including engineering operations, maintenance planning, fleet technical management, supply chain, inventory management and workforce planning.
As an Engineering Graduate you will work on projects that interact with multiple work areas and stakeholders, both within and outside of engineering, providing a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of engineering within the commercial aviation context, whilst making a critical contribution to our operations.

Technology
Graduate Stream
Do you fancy yourself as a Tech Innovator? A Digital Disruptor?
Our Technology Graduates bring a technology related degree, along with a relentless focus on enhancing the experience of our people and customers through technology transformation. You'll partner with our vibrant team of analysts, engineering and data experts and be encouraged to think innovatively and implement quickly.
As a Technology Graduate, you'll get involved in projects that reach across the entire organisation, including our Jetstar Branded Airlines in Asia and collaboration with the Qantas Group Technology Team. You may get involved in project such as designed our latest app features, building artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, or testing new technology deployed on our aircraft.

How we Hire
We recruit for the Jetstar Graduate Program only once per year, around April. We move quickly at Jetstar so when you apply in April, it's likely the recruitment process will be completed by late May. Our successful team of Graduates will takeoff on there Jetstar journey in February 2025.
Before you apply for the Jetstar Graduate Program, there are a few things to check off your list:
- Are you in your final year of study? Or have you completed an undergraduate degree or postgraduate study in the last two years?
- Do you have, or did you graduate with, a credit average or above?
- Can you work full time when the program starts?
- Will you be a permanent resident, or an Australian or New Zealand citizen when you apply?
- Are you willing to relocate to Melbourne and be available to commence in February 2025?
